  Yamaha String Instrument Podcast featuring Violist Artist Martha Mooke

New York City-based violist Martha Mooke is considered to be one of the pioneers of electric stringed instrument performance. On a recent trip to Los Angeles for the ASCAP conference, she sits down to chat with Yamaha Strings Product Manager, Heather Mansell. Please join us for this podcast interview while Heather talks to Martha about her fascinating, award-winning career as one of the trailblazers in electric strings.

This electric 5-string violist/composer/progressive recording artist presents a plugged in concert of original music and works written for her by leading composers including Tania Leon, Alvin Singleton, Dave Soldier, Laura Karpman and Fabrizio Festa. This performance is part of Daniel Pearl World Music Days, an annual global concert affirming the ideals of tolerance, friendship and our shared humanity.
